For over 20 years, I’ve held a number of roles/positions in HR, Training and Development and recently with Upstream, these include Head of D&I, Head of Women Development, Head of Internal Mobility, Head of Career Planning and Consultation, Head of Expat Employment, and have partnered with over 40 different Universities in the US, Canada and the UK as Head of Academic Programs in Dhahran and in Houston. 
 
For my recent work in D&I, the team that I lead has won a number of awards, including an award for HR Analytics at the HR Summit and Expo (2016), Learning at the Core at the global GetEnergy conference (2017), and best HR CSR initiative at the HR Summit and Expo (2017). I’ve also received a “Rising Alumni Award” from the University of Minnesota, College of Education and Human Development (2018).  
 
I chair and am a founding member of a number of boards and councils that support women in the energy sector, including the Leadership Excellence for Women Awards and Symposium (LEWAS), held annually in Bahrain, and the Gulf Region Organization for Women (GROW) network, focused on industry partnerships towards gender diversity advancement in energy.  
 
I’ve also participated and presented in a number of global conferences and workshops and have attended Executive Programs at both Emory and Wharton University. I have an M.Ed. in HR Development from the University of Minnesota and a B.A. in English-Education from the University of Bahrain.
